Volunteers coppicing Hazel and Sallow, and using some of the brash to make 'dead hedges' around the newly-coppiced stools to protect the new growth from Deer-browsing.
Forest School Family Day ~ 5 February 2023
Painting and brush-making - all paints naturally made with clay and rock crushed and mixed with water. The brushes were made with hazel. Thomas led the paint brush making tutorial.

Craft and Conservation Day ~ 5 January 2023
Volunteers coppicing hazel in the morning and log basket trial making in the afternoon with some of the cut hazel. A project to be continued on the next task.
