SatNav:
If your SatNav takes you to Kelly House from the east (Kelly House on your right), proceed 500 yards on the same road down the hill and you will find Sallerton Wood entrance gate on your left at the bottom of the hill. If you arrive at Kelly House from the west (Kelly House on your left), turn around and then proceed as above.

Directions from the A30:
Exit the A30 at the Lifton junction which is 2½ miles east of Launceston. Proceed through Lifton to Tinhay and take the prominent right turn signed to Industrial Estate and Chillaton. Follow the minor road for 3 miles and turn right signed to Meadwell and Kelly. With the church on the right in Kelly continue west for a quarter of a mile past a house named Timberpiece on the right. Sallerton Wood entrance is then on the left at the bottom of the hill.

Directions from Tavistock:
In Tavistock, follow the signs to the Hospital, then continue up past the Hospital and on through Lamerton to the crossroads at Carr's Garage. At the crossroads, go straight on to join the B3362. Continue on the B3362 to Milton Abbott and then proceed a further mile to turn right on the minor road to Bradstone. At Bradstone, turn right at Countryman Cider and proceed another ½ mile towards Kelly where you will find the entrance to Sallerton Wood on the right before you reach Kelly. Ignore the first large entrance with a double gate and proceed another 200 yards to a single-gated entrance at the bottom of the hill.

By rail:
The nearest railway station to Sallerton Wood is Gunnislake which is on a branch line from Plymouth. It will be necessary to take a taxi from Gunnislake Station (about 9 miles), or we may be able to arrange a lift for you by prior arrangement with us.
